Boot the PC using the Win 10 USB recovery disc. Choose Keep my files and proceed with the reset process. Head to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery and click Get started under Reset this PC. This will reset all of the settings and configurations you have made on your machine. (Right click Windows Start button on Taskbar and select Event Viewer link) If nothing obvious try repairing the Win Startup using a USB Recovery drive. You can try resetting your laptop when Windows 10 taking forever to boot. Here, click Choose what the power buttons do on the left sidebar. One of the main reasons a PC is taking a while to start up is because of all the applications it's trying to load right off the bat. Let the command complete and then reboot the machine.
